Capgemini is hiring an ETL & Python Testing Specialist to join its global Quality Engineering & Testing division across its core hubs in Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, and Bangalore. In this deeply technical data validation and framework engineering role, you will safeguard the integrity, performance, and transactional accuracy of complex enterprise data pipelines. Rather than performing manual cell-by-cell spreadsheet reviews, your core objective will be to design, implement, and maintain programmatic, end-to-end automation testing frameworks using Python and the Robot Framework. You will own backend SQL verification suites, triage structural data transformations, manage automated execution schedules via Linux CLI environments, and integrate testing gates directly into DevOps CI/CD loops.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of verified professional engineering experience specializing in programmatic Python development, big data automation testing, and large-scale data validation.
• Advanced hands-on development proficiency constructing clean, reusable testing blocks using Python and Robot Framework.
• Deep conceptual and operational understanding of backend testing mechanics—specifically schema validation, source-to-target mapping checks, non-deterministic data transformation verifications, and high-volume regression suite execution.
• Robust familiarity navigating and executing commands within Unix/Linux environments, including shell task scheduling, system log analysis, and automation cron management.
• Solid conceptual footing across fundamental data processing, business intelligence (BI) frameworks, metrics validation, and basic statistical data processing principles.
• Practical workflow experience working inside structured continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines, leveraging tools like Jenkins, Git, GitHub Actions, UCD, and Helios for runtime release coordination.
• Thorough familiarity with Agile QA/QE methodologies, automation strategy blueprints, and test case configuration management using industry-standard environments like JIRA, Confluence, and qTest.
